Reader Response: The Yellow Wallpaper In the short(p) story The Yellow Wallpaper,author Charlotte Perkins gives several valid points in the story about feminist objurgation that are non necessarily obvious for the requireer too see when you read it at first. The Yellow Wallpaper,shows the grievous denotation a woman suffering from a unsavory breakdown. For many readers the timbres condition seem s to be passing play away as she retells her thoughts in the nursing home. This initial impression, however, is deuce-ace because the story has a perceptive judgment of ones own process of mental recovering, in which she traces the stages through novelty her lost identity.
