My position on Jap Interment
In February of 1942 I think I would have mixed feelings. I would belike be both for it and against it. I would be for the Nipponese sepulchre camps for the protection of an attack on California. With all the Japanese separate I would have to worry about them doing a stalker attack on California, like their natives did on Pearl Harbor. I would also be against it in fear of being send to the camps even though Im not Japanese but half Phillipino. I would also be against because its a harsh thing to do and it would seem a bit extreme and unconstitutional. So at the same condemnation I would be for it too so the Japanese, citizens or not, wouldnt have a chance to attack California. Overall I would have neutral feelings about the interment camps. Unless of course I was Japanese, but Im half Filipino and it is conterminous enough to have me scared in the 1940s.

Zoot lodge Riots
The Zoot suit riots happened for a couple of reasons. The main reason for the Zoot Suit riots was the tension between the Mexican American youth and sailors and marines stationed in L.A.



Rumors were spread throughout Los Angeles that Mexican American females were targets of the American sailors, musical composition other rumors were spread that the Mexican American civilians were harassing the wives and girlfriends of the American sailors with internal taunts and expressions. Either way, the sailors and the civilians were discontent with each other, causing many red fights to break out between the two.
